Google Maps with ‘Something Like This’

Summary:

Say where you are and get information about places that are similar.

We need a service for the mobile version of Google Maps that enables to find nearby shops, bars or anything like the one you are standing in. You would just point to the location you are standing in (or the application itself would already know), get a list of businesses, things or tags related to your location and then you’d click on one and *boom* nearby related businesses or things are shown.

Could be used with the ‘Mobile Information Frame’, too.

About What We Need

This is a place where I collect thoughts on gadgets, services and design that would simplify and improve daily life. Some ideas are new, some are already known. But none are completely realized, yet. Let these thoughts be an inspiration for everyone.
